The exquisite Peloponnese in southern Greece is a peninsula rich in the myths and mysticism of Olympian gods and mythical heroes. Inhabited since pre-historic times, and dotted with pine forests, Byzantine churches and lofty hilltop villages, this historical landscape exudes a palpably healing energy rooted, much like our spa treatments, in ancient civilizations and cultural lineage.

Join Melanie Psaltakis and Sharon Neubauer, both E-RYT 500, on an adventure to Greece! We begin and end in Athens and we will stay for 4 nights at Euphoria Retreat in Mystras, an important and visually stunning UNESCO World Heritage site. Sitting on the steep slopes of the Taygetus Mountains and bounded by verdant olive and orange trees, this fortified city is one of the most compelling sets of medieval ruins in Greece.
Sharon Neubauer, E-RYT 500 and owner of Opus Yoga, is going into her 25th year of teaching Yoga. She holds certification in Anusara Yoga and has completed many teacher and therapy trainings as well as workshops and classes in a variety of styles. Never losing sight of the larger aims of Yoga, Sharon’s specialty is in exploring breath and isometric actions at all angles to balance joints and grow comfort and support for the body, mind and spirit. Her playful, compassionate and explorative teaching style empowers each student to be their own teacher.
Melanie Psaltakis, E-RYT 500 is a Viniyoga-inspired teacher with a background in Vinyasa and therapeutic yoga. Teaching since 2008, her classes are breath-centric and taught in a slow-flow format with the intention of helping you identify your unique structural challenges, shed dysfunctional patterns, and activate your untapped potential.
Melanie is also a travel specialist with Wayfinders Travel and can assist with any travel arrangements for the retreat and optional excursions before or after the retreat.
